The Gehmann 566-S Rear Sight Iris is a premium adjustable rear sight iris featuring an integrated six-colour filter system, allowing shooters to optimise contrast and sight clarity for a wide range of lighting conditions. Combining the proven performance of the renowned Gehmann 510 iris with precision optical filters, it offers exceptional versatility for both training and competition.
The iris aperture is adjustable from 0.5mm to 3.0mm, enabling fine control of depth of field and target definition. Six optically flat glass colour filters—Yellow, Light Green, Orange, Purple, Dark Grey and Light Grey—can be individually selected and precisely positioned to enhance contrast and reduce glare. When filters are not required, the unit functions perfectly as a standard adjustable iris.
A locking collar allows accurate positioning of the reference V-mark for consistent alignment, while the removable steel threaded connector enables additional optical accessories to be fitted, including the Gehmann 50300-0, 0.0 Dioptre or 50309. Finished in an attractive combination of matt black and matt silver, the iris features a matt black centre section to minimise reflections and maintain a clear, distraction-free sight picture.
Supplied complete with an instruction manual, the 566-S is an excellent choice for target shooters seeking greater control over their visual performance.
The 569 Rear Sight Iris with Colour and Greyscale Filters combines a fully adjustable iris with a comprehensive dual filter system, allowing shooters to optimise their sight picture for a wide range of lighting conditions. Incorporating the proven Gehmann 510 iris, the aperture is adjustable from 0.5mm to 3.0mm, enabling precise control of depth of field and target clarity.
The innovative twin filter wheels feature twelve optically flat glass filters arranged across two independently adjustable banks. The first bank contains six colour filters, while the second offers six blue and greyscale filters that can be used to enhance or moderate the effect of the selected colour filter. This flexibility allows shooters to tailor contrast, brightness and definition as lighting conditions or visual fatigue change throughout the day.
Particularly effective on indoor ranges with artificial lighting, it can also be used as a standard adjustable iris when filters are not required. The removable threaded connector accepts compatible accessories, including the Gehmann 0.0x Diopter, while the anti-reflective finish and laser-engraved markings provide excellent usability and optical performance.
