The Gehmann 501-A Lens Holder provides a simple and effective way to mount a 23mm prescription lens directly behind your rear sight iris, allowing shooters to achieve optimal vision without the need for specialised shooting frames. Designed for compatibility with all other manufacturers’ rear sight irises, as well as earlier Gehmann models that do not feature a removable front attachment thread, it offers a practical solution for upgrading existing sight systems.
The prescription lens is mounted into the holder, which can be easily slid off its guide rail for convenient lens installation and replacement. Once fitted, the holder slides back onto the rail and can be positioned precisely to achieve the ideal eye relief before being securely locked in place.
The attachment boss features radial adjustment, allowing the entire assembly to be accurately aligned with the shooter’s line of sight. Adjustment is quick and straightforward using the front-mounted Allen screw, making it easy to fine-tune the position for maximum comfort and optical performance.
