The iris provides infinitely variable aperture adjustment, allowing the aperture diameter to be set precisely for optimum target definition and light transmission in changing lighting conditions. The Double-Cross system uses only one side of the foresight, creating a clean and effective aiming reference while maintaining excellent target visibility.
