563 Gehmann iris with 6-colour and single polariser

The Gehmann 563 Rear Sight Iris combines a precision adjustable iris with an integrated six-colour filter system and a single polarising filter, giving target shooters greater control over light, contrast and glare. Based around the renowned Gehmann 510 iris, it is designed to optimise the sight picture in a wide variety of lighting conditions, helping to achieve maximum clarity and consistency during training and competition.

The iris aperture is adjustable from 0.5mm to 3.0mm, allowing shooters to fine-tune depth of field and target definition. Six optically flat glass colour filters—Yellow, Light Green, Orange, Purple, Dark Grey and Light Grey—can be individually positioned to enhance contrast, while the integrated single polarising filter reduces distracting reflected light by filtering unwanted reflex rays through embedded quartz crystals. The colour and polarising filters can be used independently or in combination, or the unit can simply be used as a standard adjustable iris.

A locking collar enables precise alignment of the reference V-mark for repeatable positioning, while laser-engraved markings provide clear adjustment references. The removable steel threaded connector allows additional optical accessories, such as the Gehmann 0.0 Dioptre, to be fitted when required. Finished in an attractive black and silver anti-reflective coating with matt-treated internal and external surfaces, the 563 minimises glare for a clean, distraction-free sight picture.

Compatible with all major target rifle rear sights using the M9.5 × 1 thread, the unit is supplied complete with an instruction manual.
