568MC Gehmann rearsight iris with 12-colour filter and twin polarisers

The Gehmann 568MC is a premium rear sight iris designed for competitive target rifle shooters who demand the highest level of optical control. Combining a precision adjustable iris with an innovative 12-colour filter system, twin polarising filters and the ability to add optional corrective optics, it offers exceptional versatility in all shooting conditions.

At its core is the Gehmann 510 adjustable iris, providing a continuously adjustable aperture from 0.5mm to 3.0mm. This allows shooters to fine-tune depth of field and achieve the optimum sight picture for changing light conditions and target contrast.

The advanced 12-colour filter system features two independently adjustable banks of precision optically flat glass filters:

Each filter bank can be used independently or combined with the other, providing up to 48 different colour combinations to optimise contrast and target definition. The unit can also be used as a standard adjustable iris without engaging any filters.

The integrated twin polarising filters provide outstanding glare reduction and brightness control:

• The first polarising filter reduces distracting light flicker by filtering unwanted light oscillations, helping to reduce eye strain.
• An integrated quartz crystal polariser eliminates unwanted reflected light (reflex rays) for a cleaner, sharper sight picture.
• The second polarising filter allows continuously adjustable light absorption from 10% to 90%, enabling precise control of brightness to suit a wide range of lighting conditions.

All colour filters and polarising filters can be used individually or in combination, giving virtually unlimited flexibility to tailor your sight picture.

To help maintain a consistent shooting position, the 568MC is supplied with five external push-fit rubber eye rings, allowing shooters to achieve repeatable eye placement from shot to shot. The removable threaded steel connector also allows compatible Gehmann optical accessories, such as the 0.0 dioptre, to be fitted, making the sight even more adaptable to individual requirements.
