The Gehmann 530-0 is a high-performance rear sight iris engineered for precision target shooting. Featuring Gehmann’s patented adjustable iris mechanism and advanced 0.0x corrective optics, it delivers exceptional durability, accuracy and repeatability without image magnification, making it an ideal choice for competitive shooters.
Its compact design incorporates an adjustable iris with a 0.5mm to 3.0mm aperture range, allowing precise control of depth of field and sight clarity across a wide variety of lighting conditions.
Unlike conventional iris designs, the fixed-seat iris uses individually located hardened spring steel blades. A unique aperture control system applies pressure through a precision steel tube to the central aiming ring, ensuring the aperture remains a perfect circle throughout its adjustment range. This innovative design maintains the exact aiming point regardless of aperture size.
Constructed from hardened spring steel rather than brass, the iris is exceptionally robust and suitable for use with both small and large calibre target rifles. Because the iris blades are permanently connected to the main body, there is no possibility of point-of-impact shift during adjustment, providing complete confidence in shot-to-shot consistency.
The integrated 0.0x optical system provides no image magnification, while offering an adjustable -5.0 to +5.0 dioptre correction to compensate for individual eyesight requirements. The optical assembly can also be removed and replaced with the Gehmann 577 thread adapter to create a traditional iris configuration without dioptre adjustment.
Protected by Gehmann patents and finished in a distinctive black and red colour scheme, the 530-0 is fully approved for competition under both ISSF and DSB regulations.
Combining outstanding mechanical precision with advanced optical correction, the Gehmann 530-0 offers serious target shooters a reliable, competition-ready rear sight iris designed to deliver exceptional accuracy, durability and a consistently clear sight picture.
