Parker Hale 009 cleans and protects shotgun, rifle and pistol barrels. It removes lead and other metallic fouling. Lead and metallic fouling in gun barrels can cause serious damage, in that it hides rusting of the steel which sits beneath the fouling. Parker Hale 009 is specifically designed to remove this fouling, keeping your barrel in tip top condition for longer.

Express Gun Oil has been specially developed by Parker Hale for the lubrication of guns and rifles and is suitable for all climates and conditions. It contains a special rust inhibitor to help protect your gun, making it the ideal choice for the shooters all over the world.
Express Gun Oil is made from a light mineral oil, so is highly suitable for many other uses requiring a high grade, light lubricating oil. It combines penetration, rust inhibition and cleaning power, the viscosity makes it easy to use and gauge how much oil you are applying.
A good quality shotguns, rifle or pistol is an expensive purchase. With reasonable care and maintenance they should last you a lifetime. This means keeping it clean and rust free, and keeping moving parts well lubricated. (Care must be taken when applying oil to air rifles and pistols, improper oiling can lead to malfunction and/or dieseling, if you need information on how to clean your Air-Pistol or Rifle, please get in touch using the enquiry form)
Gun Maintenance is essential, the chamber and bore should be cleaned with something like Youngs ‘303’, every time you shoot, fouling should never be left in the chamber of barrel as this can lead to rust forming underneath the fouling and subsequently damaging the barrel. For moving parts you need to use Express Gun Oil or something similar. One of the things we do often here is to apply the oil to a cloth and then wipe over the outside of the gun to remove acidic fingerprints and other fouling and leave the gun with a level of protection before its next outing.
